DELF / DALF, an official diploma.
Long lasting value.
The DELF, Diplôme d’études en langue française, and the DALF, Diplôme approfondi de langue française, are the official reference diplomas used to certify your level of French. They are awarded by the French Ministry of Education and managed by France Éducation International.
Unlike a language test with limited validity, the DELF and DALF are diplomas valid for life, aligned with CEFR levels from A1 to C2.
Each level corresponds to a distinct and independent diploma. You therefore register only for the exam matching the level you want to certify, without having to take the previous levels.
The DELF Tout Public is designed for adults and older teenagers. It includes 4 independent diplomas: A1, A2, B1 and B2.
The DALF includes 2 independent diplomas for advanced levels: C1 and C2.
