This privacy policy explains how KEEP LEARNING FRENCH (“KLF”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the website klf-examen.fr and the associated services (purchases, access to revision platforms, support).

Important: for certain services, in particular invoicing, assistance and/or the operational management of modules, KLF may rely on entities within the group (e.g. Newdeal Institut) acting as processors or, where applicable, joint controllers depending on the nature of the processing. In all cases, KLF remains your main point of contact for exercising your rights.

2. Data collected

Depending on your use of the website and services, we may collect:

Identification data: title/gender, surname, first name.

Contact data: email address, telephone number.

Administrative data: date of birth, nationality (where requested via a form).

Account and usage data: account ID, training history, results, progress, actions carried out on the platform.

Technical data: IP address, login identifiers, logs, browser, system, security events (to the extent necessary).

Payments: payments are processed by our provider Stripe. We do not store your full bank card details. Stripe processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Your data may be processed by KLF and by service providers strictly necessary for the service:

Stripe: payment processing.

Fidelo: form/registration management, tracking and administration (ERP/CRM).

Kinsta: hosting of the website and/or associated services.

KLF group entities (e.g. Newdeal Institut): assistance, support, operational administration, depending on the service used.

Technical service providers (maintenance, security, transactional emailing): only where necessary and contractually regulated.

We do not sell your data. We only disclose it to third parties when necessary for the provision of the service, compliance with a legal obligation, or the protection of our rights.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some service providers may process data from countries outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we ensure that these transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (for example, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses) and/or any mechanism recognised by the regulations.

6. Retention periods

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described:

“Account & activity” data: 3 years from the last contact or last activity.

Accounting data (invoices, supporting documents): 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.

Technical and security logs: limited period, proportionate to the purpose (security, incident detection).

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (access control, logging, backups, securing environments, etc.). However, no system offers absolute security.
